Terms of Use

Last updated 26 October 2026

In short: Paisa is a personal record-keeping tool. It is provided “as is”, you use it at your own risk, it is not financial advice, and you are responsible for checking your own bank records. The developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and Ahsan MT, the developer of Paisa (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Paisa you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. If you do not agree, do not use Paisa.

2. What Paisa is, and what it is not

3. Accuracy: please check your own records

Paisa reads bank SMS, screenshots and statements automatically. Banks change their message formats, messages can be delayed or missed, and automatic reading can make mistakes. Amounts, categories, balances, due dates, interest figures, bill and card reminders, split balances and other results may be incomplete, late or wrong. Your bank's statements and official communications are always the correct record. You are responsible for checking them, paying your bills, EMIs and card dues on time, and for any decision you make using Paisa.

4. Use at your own risk; no warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paisa and all its features, content and updates are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. We do not promise that Paisa will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any data will be kept safe or can be recovered.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Paisa. This includes, without limitation: missed, late or wrong payments; late fees, interest or penalties; credit score effects; lost or incorrect data; financial loss or lost savings; decisions made using Paisa; problems caused by your device, iOS, iCloud, Shortcuts, your bank or any third party; and any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Paisa in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Your data

Your data stays on your device and, if you turn it on, in your private iCloud. We do not have access to it. See the Privacy Policy. Because we cannot see or store your data, we cannot restore it for you. Keep your own backups (Settings → Save a backup file).

8. Paisa Pro subscriptions

9. Third-party services

Paisa works with Apple services (Shortcuts, Siri, iCloud, widgets, Apple Watch) and with messages from banks and payment apps. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or terms. Bank and app names are used only to describe compatibility; Paisa is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Changes and ending use

We may update Paisa, change or remove features, or update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use Paisa after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Paisa at any time by deleting it. We may stop offering Paisa at any time.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of Paisa or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kerala, India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
