Setting up automatic logging
How do I set it up?
Open Paisa → Settings → SMS automation and tap “Watch the 1-minute setup”. In short: in Shortcuts, tap +, tap Edit, choose Automation → Message, change Sender to Message, type A/c, then add Paisa's “Log UPI Transaction” action and pass it the Message. Make a second one with the word Bank.
Why two automations, “A/c” and “Bank”?
Banks word their SMS differently. Every bank message Paisa knows contains “A/c” or “Bank”, and Shortcuts can look for only one word per automation.
A payment didn't show up
Check Settings → Couldn't read: messages Paisa couldn't understand wait there, ready to add in one tap. Also check that both automations are on in the Shortcuts app. If your bank's format isn't read, send us the SMS with the amount and names changed.
Will Paisa read my OTPs or personal messages?
Paisa only receives messages your automation passes to it, and it saves only completed payments. OTPs, offers, reminders and chats are skipped and never stored.
Data and sync
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Turn on Settings → iCloud sync and sign in to the same Apple Account on the new phone. Without iCloud, use Settings → Save a backup file and then Restore from backup on the new phone.
Can I import my old transactions?
Yes. Download a statement from your bank's website as CSV (best) or PDF, then use Settings → Import bank statement. Payments you already have are skipped.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Delete all data. If iCloud sync is on, this also removes your data from iCloud.
Languages
How do I change Paisa's language?
Open the iPhone Settings app → Apps → Paisa → Language. Paisa supports English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi and Assamese.
